These terms govern your use of gilika. By using the service, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
The service
gilika turns code snippets into polished images, rendered entirely in your browser. You can use the editor anonymously. An optional account lets Pro subscribers save reusable styles. We may add, change, or remove features over time. gilika is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Norway.
Accounts & acceptable use
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, circumvent export or subscription limits, access it through automated abuse, or use it for unlawful purposes. You retain all rights to the code and images you create; gilika claims no ownership of your content.
Plans & billing
The free tier includes a monthly export allowance. Pro is a recurring monthly subscription billed through Stripe that unlocks unlimited exports and saved styles. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, gilika is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or images, arising from your use of the service. Because rendering and export happen in your browser, you are responsible for saving the images you create.
Changes & governing law
